Kristen Williams is a graphic designer, art director, and illustrator living in downtown Los Angeles. Hailing from the East coast, she spends what time she is not designing trying to replicate "autumn" and "winter" as well as subliminally training the people around her to develop Philly accents.
Kristen moved to Los Angeles 3 days after graduating from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. Beginning by freelancing at a variety of companies, she took a job at Film Independent as the in-house designer, where she worked on the company's two major productions: the Independent Spirit Awards and the Los Angeles Film Festival. In addition she handled all of the in-house design for the different organizations within Film Independent. After that she went to Samuels Advertising, where she has been working for the past 2 and a half years, on clients including Rhino Home Entertainment, Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group, Killer Tracks Production Music, Lionsgate Films, and several others.
An exceptionally gifted speller, Kristen won her third grade spelling bee. She can name all of the states in alphabetical order. She has visited every battlefield on the eastern seaboard (usually during the hottest part of the summer). Kristen stopped eating red meat when she was 12 but started again after moving to Southern California. Taking recent classes in both motion design and a letterpress studio in Pasadena have inspired her learn more about each of these fields. Contact for freelance projects or to say hello!
